perfected the daiquiri, at least for now.

Freshly picked blackberries...I froze some pear juice to use as ice....screw rum; use cachaca and the slightest touch of chambord.

Oh hell yes...I'll make you a few damn, this is good. The cachaca makes it; I'll have to sneak some up in my luggage next time because I doubt it's available in Ketchikan. It's a first cousin to rum, I suppose, distilled straight from sugar cane I think.

I'm also thinking that fresh salmonberries--very ripe though--would make good daiquiris with a little ginger.

Well CRAP. I just read that the bigfoot those guys had in the cooler was a possum. Here I was all excited, too.

Hey met I could name a VERY respected guy here---you probably know him---who swears he saw a sasquatch on POW. He's very believable. Told me about it one night a few years ago in the Hill Bar---and no he wasn't drinking.
