I want a ride in that big red Beaver float plane. Personally, I'm a little tired of Otters and 206's.

I would love to take a spin on a float plane! I have a lot of air miles on the big boys but never took a spin on a float. Woo hoo... let's ride..

I'm returning to work tomorrow after this 2 month moving project. Time to go earn a decent living and rejoin the other wage-earners so we can pay for all the toys we want .

Well varmit calls me at 6:00 in the morning on her way to work and says honey look outside on the street there is a moose! So, I am in my jammies but I throw my boots on and out into the dark street I go no moose. About an hour later there are the moose. A bull, cow and her calf. Just wandering around the neighborhood. Dogs barking, the Enstar guy drives right by them, gets out walks past them like they are not there, reads the meter, jumps back in his truck and off he goes. All the while, they are just standing in this guys yards not giving a hooter about anything. Urban moose do not deserve to live that long.

The opening scene from "Northern Exposure" is classic urban moose. I have the whole series (not because it's "Alaska", but because it was entertaining).

You're right, the moose just don't seem to care. One of our dogs was barking at 3 of them the other morning and all they did was look at the dog then carry on doing what they do.

Neither have I...don't feel bad. I went through many years without a telly. I rather enjoyed that time - but with a teenager, it was considered child abuse!
