OK Mal...I might be confused here. But I thought Equinox meant "equal night". Which transversly, also means equal day.

I understand that on March 21 the axial tilt is exactly 90 degrees from the sun. So on that day everyone on the planet would have 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night. Like Glitch said on that day at least, it wouldn't make any difference where you were in Alaska, or anywhere else.

This page says so. I am so ashamed. This only happens once a day or so. When it happens that I am wrong so often, like today, I think I should go home and hide under the covers. LOL
