About the only thing you can count on is that it doesn't get dark - really dark - on June 21, pretty much all over the state, with the possible exception of part of Southeast. Never been there June 21. For the rest, it's like asking when the sun sets in the Lower 48, it's different north to south, also - but not so much - east to west.

And it was a beautiful sunset! We were on the highway from Wasilla to Anchorage. It's a crappy pic because Crossfire was driving 65 and I tried to catch the pic out the window....

I love the colours....but the clouds can leave. Missed the Aurorae last eve due to those clouds...grrr. But did feel that earth shake - that was interesting!
