How far North will it (ash/etc.) spread if it erupts? To the Interior?

Depends on the current weather system. If it blew today, the ash would flow to the Kenai Peninsula and possibly Anchorage.

Don't have time to look here, but wasn't it said that ash particles from Mt. St. Helens that stayed airborne circled the earth several times, affecting weather, etc...
