Undoubtedly, Rance! The lahars are quite a sight to see at any rate. I don't recollect where I heard this - if it was on KTUU or another Alaska news channel; hell could've come from the Weather Channel; but they were stating that if there was ash in the air this night, Anchorage and Mat-Su areas, possible the Kenai would see ashfall by tomorrow due to the winds.

...ashfall advisory in effect until 5 am akdt tuesday...

the national weather service in anchorage has issued an ashfall
advisory...which is in effect until 5 am akdt tuesday.

Redoubt volcano...on the west side of cook inlet...erupted
to 60,000 ft at 741 pm. Models indicate low level
ashfall will be travelling west toward the aleutian range and
bristol bay. Areas of light ashfall are expected to persist until early
tuesday morning.
