Not certain if there are two Roadside's...but the one spoken about here is not downtown Wasilla.

Looking at different threads Anchorage has a lot of trails and what not. Are there good to reat trails in Wasilla? Love to camp too. Best Place? Part of problem i not being able to come up to look first then move. It's going to be all one shot!! Palmer seems as if it's close to live there if need be but I prefer Wasilla.

I MAY be moving to Wasilla if I get job I've been seeking (3 phone interviews so far, next comes face-to-face). So I'm looking at options for moving there myself... If it were summer would DEFINITELY drive. Winter on the Alcan kinda intimidates me... I may do a ferry up with stuff in storage here and drive it up later. I keep reading comments from people who were successful on the winter drive and I give them my full respect, but I just don't know that I'm up for that.
