I Live out on Murphy Dome Rd. in Goldstream and I'm planning a ski trek along the Dunbar trail from my cabin to Manley Hot Springs during the first week in March. I'd like to make the trip a one way experience so I can relax and not worry so much about time.
I'm trying to find somebody who'll be in Manley Hot Springs or in that area around the sixth through the eighth of March that could give me, my dog, skii's, and small sled I'll be towing a ride back to Goldstream. I'll pay $100.00 for time and gas for the ride.
If you are enterested or know somebody who would be please let me know.

If I lived closer, I'd be more than willing to help ya out, but I'm down in the valley, bit too far.

Your best bet it to call one of the businesses there that are open this time of year and have them post a note for you. That is a long way to drive even for a hundred dollar bill when you are talking round trip for the driver....

Maybe a note to the postmaster and they can post it for you.

There is always someone that lives there needing to head into Fairbanks and that is your best bet.

How about you make it a round trip ski trek? You can also park your vehicle there and when you get there just drive back.

Tnkas starlite9, I hadn't thought of contacting the postmaster there. I was considering contacting a store there, but after seeing that their is not much there aside for the hotel and a general store, I had forgotten that the postmaster is in the general store. I'll give them a call, thanks.

Icehound - you can also check the airport there's usually someone there if you can't reach Bob at the post office. Depending on how much gear you have, you might also be able to hop the mail plane back.
