One reason miniature dogs are out of place in Alaska:

It was a Chihuahua that they claimed was taken in Valdez several years ago as well. I find the story very suspicious. Particularly the part where she says:

Quote:
"It was a full-grown eagle, and it hit me on the head and shoulders, and knocked me down," Briggs said. "I looked up and saw that he had my puppy."
I think she is lying through her teeth. I don't believe for an instant that an eagle attacked her and took her dog from her hands.

I guess the eagle didn't like the movie about the Chihuahua.

Besides how do they know it was a "hungry" eagle. Maybe it was just an ornery eagle, or an eagle with a warped sense of humor?

Obviously an eagle that has seen one too many Taco Bell commercials, and was seeking revenge.
