Hello again! I'm trying to connect with other Catholic homeschool families here in Alaska Are there any other families out there, or are we the only ones? Sure hope we're not all by our lonesome...
Take care & God bless!

I haven't heard of too many Catholic homeschooling groups...not to say they aren't out there. Who are you homeschooling through??? Ex. I.D.E.A. or Anchorage school district etc. We go through Idea and love it. You can often find other parents and join a private group that does things like Scouts type activities. There might be a private Catholic group. Also check with your church as they might even know. Homeschooling is very big out here so there's hope. Good Luck

I know of a very successful catholic home school family in the valley. They have I think 9 kids ranging from just beginning school age to college. The kids are academically advanced and extremely mature for their age.

I am not willing to give out their names here for obvious reasons but I could pass your name to them if you want to pm me.

Dear MommaF8:

I don't know much about homeschooling, but I have to believe that there must be homeschooling websites listing resources and contacts. Maybe Google can help you with that.

Good luck

Yes a quick google for "Catholic Homeschooling Network" brought me with
Catholic Homeschool Network of America (CHSNA) (I think this is outdated but maybe people still use it?)
Catholic Homeschool Support: Home Page (in which you want to actually go to Catholic Homeschool Support: Find Groups )
and the list just goes on and on... I am sure there are webforums and everything else, you religious people tend to open up every single door possible so you can find each other.
