There is a big pot of wild-rice, chicken and mushroom soup simmering in the crockpot to combat the freezing wind that chased all the warmth away. However long or short my live may turn out to be-it is always sweet. My friends and family across this great country and the memories I cherish of all of it keep me company and keep me grounded.
