Why is the bed and breakfast hotels more popular in the state of Alaska? It's like turning a large home into a working hotel for the travel industry.

Rance, sounds like you are getting a lot done on this Labor Day!

I'm in my (home) office working now, but before that I was just loafing on the couch.

Made a quick trip to the nearest store which was mobbed--everybody getting their last-minute stuff for their holiday BBQs.

I chose yesterday as the first day of my diet. Nothing but homemade vegetable soup or fruit all day.

And now...off to work!

Would going to Subway for foot long roast beef sub do the trick? One meal per day. Every now and then. Every now and then a low carb diet is also good.

One meal a a day is about the worst diet one can practice, it puts the body into starvation mode and will cause it to convert food to fat for storage almost immediately. Eating several small and balanced meals is ideal.
