If you go clamming or exploring during low tide out in the muck, you hit pockets where it sucks your foot or feet down...move fast or keep moving...I'm not sure if it is really truly quicksand, but in my mind it acts the same

Avoided the 900-something mb low that threatened to wash us out to sea the past couple of days; suffered a slightly higher than normal high-high tide and a bit of breeze, but certainly nothing like predicted. Woodshed is full, pantry is full, just replacing one battery bank for forklift battery so winter should be warm, well-fed, and energized.

Didn't change tires. Roads are dry still. I just jinxed myself for typing that out. Made it to Whitehorse.
