Hows this for a shotty end to an otherwise good day; I get in at a respectable hour just to find that my neighbor's toilet flooded, and leaked through the cheap barracks walls into my room. Using every available mop, towell, and dirty t-shirt we could mannage, and, Hours, later, my roomate and I filled a 35 gallon tub of crap watter to the brim. Broken electroics, ruined clothes, and a verry late night, still doesn't compete with a plumber who says, "Well it'snot an immediate emergency, so we wont be out there till 6:00 tomorrow morning." Oh well, like I said, an otherwise good day; at least I got an extra grand in my pocket fro selling the old buick. Gotta find the upside in life, right.?

I could faintly see stars through the cloud cover at midnight...but saw no lights.

That is interesting. Maybe there's something strange going on and maybe not. Getting scientists to agree with each other is a bit like herding cats, so I'm always pretty doubtful of any sort of conspiracy.

Personally, I don't even want to think about the kinds of things that could be taken out of context if someone who already had it in for me got ahold of all my emails from the last ten years.

Took a nice hike out on Palmer Hay Flats today with the dogs. Weather cleared up just during the time I was out there.
