Yes, well aware of that. I didn't mean they were the same. The bulb syringe for the babies is totally different, however, I'm sure it's pretty traumatic for them as I remember using one on my son when he was a little one. As far as the sinuses I had 2 friends who had to have it performed and they said the pain was excruciating. Anything stuck up the nose is uncomfortable regardless.

My sinuses act up now and then but usually a non-drowsy over the counter Sudafed takes care of it.

I have to have brain surgery next month & they're going in through my nose. So everything has to be good. The doctor doesn't want to carry the infection into my brain.

Wow well worth it to have this light inserted into the nose. How long does it usually take for them to perform the type of brain surgery you are having?

Six hours I think... They're going in to remove a tumor that they removed two years ago. Apparently it grew back. Then I get some radiation.
