Anywho...Sweden says Hi!

I was just in Red Wing this weekend! Rode the cannon river trail the whole way and back. There were a bunch of worms hanging down from the trees though, that was kind of gross.
Anyway, looks like your getting out of Minnesota just in time. Its supposed to get hot, humid and nasty this weekend with no end in sight. Spring is done for now I suppose.

Hi! The airport is empty because people don't need to be there long. They arrive there to the flight.
The point is that you speak about so-called "white nights" which happen in the summer only in St. Petersburg. This phenomenon is certainly observed on Chukotka and Alaska too. There are no white nights in Moscow.

I really like "white nights", it sounds so mysterious and magical.

That will be so cool! It's strange though that Moscow doesn't have white nights. It's not soooo far away from St. Pete and yet it seems that it's another world.

My trip is going to be so short! I'm really upset about that. We lose a whole day getting to St. Pete from Miami. There is a layover in Rome and I wanted to go a few days before so I could be in Rome 3 days or so, and would meet the group in time to catch the plane to St. Pete, but the tour agency won't let me do it unless I pay A LOT. Then we lose a whole day coming back!

I am very glad for you! By the way, when will you take off from Miami and what time will you be in St. Peter?
Good luck to you!

We leave Miami Saturday, July 3rd at 4:15 pm. Arrive Rome Sunday July 4th at 8 am and catch another plane Rome to Leningrad at 11 am or so. Get to St. Pete at 5 pm Sunday the 4th.

Will be celebrating our country's independence in Russia! LOLLLL

Just a quick note to let everyone know we made it safely to Homer Alaska from Minnesota. Wow! My brain was overloaded with the sheer beauty and immensity of the landscape we passed through. I have not been able to get the internet set up in my new home yet so I have to type this quickly. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your tips, advice and mostly the warm welcome we have received here. Tomorrow I should be able to catch up on what I have missed the last several weeks. I hope you are all well!
