Looks like Shaktoolik. I used to fly down there from Nome when the Alascom Earth Station or the RATNET TV conked out. If it was just the phone system, they'd call before a week went by, and if it took a day or two to get there, that was okay. If the freaking TV was out, they'd charter an airplane to get up high enough to call Nome on a VHF radio, and they fully expected a new TV transmitter would be there inside a few hours!

I like those of the dredges in particular. Do you know if those two are the ones they had operation about 20-25 years ago?

I remember talking to a couple of operators. One guys said, with a grin, that the other guy worked on the "biggest operating dredge in the world". Then he said, "And I work on the best!"
