Hi! My husband & I are moving to Juneau at the beginning of June. We're going to use Alaskan Marine to barge our items up. Since it is less costly per 100 lb weight to ship a full sea container, I thought it might be interesting to see if anyone else wanted to put their items on board and split the cost? The plan is to put the stuff on a barge leaving Seattle the week of June 7. We could each pay the shipping company our share directly, so there would be no funny business involved with the money, etc.
Just an FYI, they do not recommend putting vehicles in the container, in case it does go overboard.
