Hello everyone. Today is finally here. I am currently in Fairbanks at the airport. I arrive in Barrow @ approx 7:16 this evening. Months of preparation and worry have culminated in this one day, a new chapter in our lives.
Hope your flight was good. I was at the airport but hadn't a clue which might be you. I did ask a lot of people if they were you, had a good time.
Still hope to meet up with you at some point.
While at the airport making a pain of myself, I talked with a researcher who was studying whales in Barrow over the past few weeks. She shared that two additional whales were received. That makes three so far this year. Haven't heard anything else, so I have to take her word.
Floyd - have you heard anything? I should have asked you at the airport, but I was having too much fun.
