But many articles just dissapear for good. There is no archives. And at the end of many, if not most articles there is links to send the story, print it and such. I would imagine posting an article with a link to the original is not stealing anything, rather a favor to the author by presenting it to a new, broader audience. Audience that would never get to see or read it otherwise.

I don't have any certain article in mind right now, but it happened many times in the past- you post a link and it is useless after few weeks or months. And the text is crucial to the discussion, without it no one knows what's it all about.

Look carefully at the main page. Edit: don't look, the announcment is gone. It warned not to copy articles, which I agree with in general, except here we do it to fruther a disscussion and to bring it to a larger audience. That falls within fair use and should not be prohibited.
