I'm sure I will read it at some point but I won't be rushing to the bookstore on the day of it's release.

I'd be sick if I spent hours reading her book, all the cutesy words and rhymes such as you betcha, coo coo cachoo etc would drive me crazy.

Oh, and I'm requesting in advance that the usual suspects not be allowed to wreck this thread and that the people who actually want to have this conversation can have it. The title is clear enough; those who feel this should not be talked about should do the decent thing and stay out of it for a change.

Some of you really have learned that the way to get a conversation that you don't like shut down is to behave like an absolute jackass. Stiff, why don't you just **** for once?

There is speculation that she didn't actually write it; I would be inclined to think that is the case. Hopefully her ghost writer didn't employ too many of the fake hillbilly dialect that she insulted us real hillbillies with during the election.

I'll put it on the back burner with other non-fiction that may pique my interest in the future. For those that do read it, please let us know if you thought it was a good read.

Since you asked so nicely I won't wreck your thread. Unless someone starts equating excrement with Palin. That's pretty ****** up if you ask me. I'll step in and defend her just like I'd do for you if you weren't on here to defend yourself.

As for the book I'll read it. Won't buy it so it might be a while before I find a discarded copy.

I don't think I will waste money on a new copy...I bet 'days' later they will be for sale used on Amazon or Ebay, maybe they would even include some $$$ to buy it... Reading it would be sheer curiousity of the spin(s) that come forth, and I doubt an editor or publisher with a half-ounce of sense would allow the over-used 'Palinisms' to fill the pages. When finished reading it, should I have the need to build a fire and pee-off the gods that be....

I will read it out of curiosity. I hear it's available on the Conservative Book Club for a buck a copy, but I don't happen to be a member....

Stiff, sorry to sound harsh. I just get tired of the old "obsessed with Palin" song and dance every time she's mentioned in a negative way. I doubt that anyone here spends a lot of time really thinking about her, but she does have a book coming out, she is not "gone" by any means. It's a legitimate topic of conversation.
