During WWII in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, there was an old steam ship called the "Northwestern". It was tied to the dock supplying electrical power to town when the Japanese did another surprise attack on Alaska. The ship was bombed and a number of people were killed. The ship was towed to the end of the bay to rust into history! It appears it is taking its time!

This is a video I found of the ship shortly after it was attacked.
