Default Already made it

We already made it to Alaska, safe and sound. We didn't end up bringing the plants, but they never asked about them at the border either. At the Canadian border they didn't ask about the pets, but they did at the US border. We just showed them their current vaccinations report and rabies certificate and it was all good.

I know about the road conditions and the weather, I was born and raised in Alaska so I know all about it. I was just curious about the plants. I've driven the Alaskan Highway 10 times now, and wasn't sure about the plants. We ended up not having enough room to bring them anyway, but I do agree it would've been a pain bringing them inside every night.

On a side note, ask for a passport stamp at the Alaska border, it's pretty cool!!

Of course we were ready for the trip. We left on Dec 18th and didn't have any problems. I've driven the Alaska Highway 10 times now, so I know the ropes. I don't know why you said I seemed a little "off".

You are welcome. I've done the Alcan 15 times and my best friend and I drove to Whitehorse in October for a weekend. The highway gets better every summer! I love what they did to the southern end of Kluane Lake, wide open road now compared to the narrow windy road it once was.
