Tanana Chiefs board endorses proposed road to Nome: Rural Alaska | adn.com
I wonder if this will every happen. It would make it less expensive to bring fuel and freight to some of the villages but others would still only be accessible by boat and air.
I like the idea of an LNG plant at the Yukon River and barging LNG up and down the Yukon. I have no idea how much a small LNG plant costs but if a gas line ever goes through it should be considered.
