A while back I found a schedule of ports that the ferry stopped at between Bellingham and Juneau. I should have saved the page but didn't, and now I can't seem to find that schedule again online.

Does anyone know where I can find an online schedule of port stops between those two cities? If not, for those who have done this trip before, can you tell me where you stopped along the way and for how long?

The Milepost used to have a section on the Alaska Marine Highway. I'm assuming it still does, hopefully!

First stop is always Ketchikan....

Leave Bellingham Friday @ 6pm arrive Ketchikan Sunday @ 7:30am

Depart Ketchikan Sunday @ 8:45 am arrive at Wrangell Sunday @ 3 pm

Depart Wrangell @ 4pm arrive at Petersburg @ 7:30 pm

Depart Petersburg @ 8:30 pm arrive Juneau Monday about 6:15am

Bellingham to Ketchikan= 37 hours
Ketchikan to Wrangell = 6 hours
Wrangell to Petersburg= 3 hours
Petersburg to Juneau = 8 hours

So...for you traveling from Ketchikan to to J-town the travel-time-on-ferry would be 17 hours

Stop down at the main ferry office in downtown J-town and pick up a 2010 schedule, its all in there

Just inside the front cover is the "Running Times" between ports also

We made the trip last September and there were several stops between Ketchikan and Juneau. Each stop we went down to check on the cats and I went ashore at least twice. The length of the stops was not much more than an hour but we did go to a grocery store in Ketchikan and walked on the dock at the other ones.

Yup. That's exactly what I did this morning. Stopped at the ferry terminal to buy tickets to Ketchikan and back, and picked up a copy of the schedule.

I've got the schedules, got some tickets, got a hostel reservation, good to go. Meeting SO in Ketchikan. I'm stoked!

Once you hit the Inland Passage the wave action likely won't be too bad. But even so, I wouldn't hang out with those friends too much or you may find the trip a bit unpleasant. Good comeback though.
