driving north to canada in a few weeks and stopping in saratoga over night... we'd be pulling into town around 10am and leaving the next day around the same time...

we're definately going to the track for a couple of races and are visiting the battlefield.

what else would you say is a must see/must do in saratoga with such a limited time frame? also any reccomendations for a nice and reasonable priced meal?

members of my entourage include wife, 12 yo daughter and 9yo son...

thanks

Downtown is the must see/must do if you only have one day! Good luck having enough time after going to the track and seeing the battlefield to even get there..... that's one busy day If you do get to stoll downtown, make sure you stroll through Congress Park. Such a gem.

My food faves:
Lunch:Ravenous (crepes! very unique), Esperanto (GREAT falafel and curry), Spring Street Deli
Dinner: Longfellow's (beautiful!), Pennell's, or the Olde Bryan Inn (gets my vote)

Have fun!

The track and the battlefield? I agree with the above, too much driving.

Restaurants, Scallions( nice lunch) Cantina (great nouveau Mex) for a family dinner reasonably priced, go to exit 15, Wilton mall area, all reg family restaurants there, our favorite is 99.
