I agree and it is right next to Schenectady. Very nice community and very good schools too.

ckthankgod, last week there was mention of Schenectady having dangerous schools (assume high school). Schenectady High on danger list for 3rd year - Times Union

It seems to refer to the violent incidents.

I think all the talk about the track is similiar to hearing about the state budget or school layoffs. It's the same fear tactic I hear every year, and at the last second everything is saved. I guess we live off drama.

I was talking about Niskayuna being next to Schenectady and that community having very good schools, as well as being a nice community. Schenectady was referring to some of the things that they could go to that the city offers.

I've been to both. Both are special, and distinct. Unique. To each other. That said, and I will preface my comments on the fact that I am from NY. I am a NY'er and I've go to Saratoga far more often than Del Mar. I go to Saratoga every meet.

OK . . . that said . . . The Spaaaaaaa . . . 'nuff said. LOL.

Saratoga is the best. Not familiar with Delmar but there's SO much to do in Saratoga and housing in surrounding areas is somewhat affordable. Great place to raise children if you love the outdoors!
