Hi there I am looking to relocate from Long Island to Lake George. I own a house on Assembly Point and love the area. My wife and I are both Nurses on Long Island, making very good money, Does any one know what a registered nurses salary at Glens Falls Hospital. I know it varies on experience and area, but just looking for a general base idea. That will determine when the move occurs, if we can afford to take a paycut. We know there will be one definitely just trying to find out how much. Thanks

There might be something here: Career Opportunities : Available Nursing Positions

You could possibly look at Saratoga Hospital and maybe Moses-Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga.

Your salary will be around 45/50k at the most if you are lucky. Up here its not the same as far as wages go but living in Lake G. without LI traffic, priceless!

Also, the cost of living in lower too. So, you could probably get a similar home for a lower price. So, things "even out", give or take.

We rent right now, we already bought a home on assembly point, however it is not in very good condition but we got a great price, so we would have to build a new one.
