I'd recommend driving around Albany, Troy & Schenectady and you'll find abandoned buildings. Also you could look at the street views on google maps to get a feel for an area before driving all over the place. One in Albany just burned, it was in the newspaper, I don't know the address though. In Sch'dy - Hamilton Hill, State St., Vail Park area. Near me there is a church at the corner of Wendell & Union that is for sale, don't know that it's technically abandoned. In Albany, the Arbor Hill area, Clinton Ave, Livingston. I remember seeing some great farmhouses I think outside of the Scotia Glenville area, rt 147 maybe...Is there a specific type that you are interested in? Homes, churches? Have you checked into foreclosures for sale? Most of them are empty, not sure if they are abandoned.
