Does Albany have a store that carries imported European candies. I am looking for the "hardcore" double-salted Dutch licorice...

Thanks!

You might do better by looking online and purchasing them that way. Candy stores are extremely hard to come by anywhere nowadays.

Maybe try Uncle Sam's in Schenectady.

Uncle Sam's Candy

My other thought was some of the farms have gourmet candy, Indian Ladder Farm/Orchard, Riverview Orchards, etc.

These places all make candy and don't import it. Purchasing the candy online probably the easiest thing to do. European candy is VERY hard to find in most of the US. My grandmother always brought us the most amazing chocolate when she would visit family in Germany. We've never been able to buy any of it here unfortunately.

Agree with this. I have even had a hard time finding European candies in Manhattan. Believe it or not, the place where I have had luck finding a FEW good European candies in the international section of the Westgate Price Chopper on Central Ave in Albany. It's rather hit or miss, but if you happen to be in there, take a peek to see if anything interesting is on the shelves.
