We are considering moving to the Glens Falls area. Options are Glens Falls, Queensbury and Lake George. We have 2 high school age kids and are looking for the best school because one is a junior the other a sophmore. They are both in advanced classes and love drama and music 1st and then sports. Also which would be the better place just to reside in? Thanks.

This should help: GreatSchools - Public and Private School Ratings, Reviews and Parent Community Go to NY, then click on search by address. Then go to the bottom and find Warren, Washington and Saratoga(for South Glens Falls schools) counties.

This has information too: www.nystart.gov/publicweb/Home.do?year=2010 (broken link)

Queensbury is the biggest school in that area and is the most suburban of the schools in that area.

I moved to Glens Falls because of the schools. They are rated high and you don't get the "snobbery" factor as much as Queensbury.
