Hi,

I posted before, but can't seem to find it! Anyway I'm in Albany now looking for a place to live....and am overwhelmed. Any suggestions on a decent apartment complex in a good area? I'm a professional who likes the outdoors, but wants to be near some nice restaurants, shopping, maybe a lake (need to have a garage - don't want to shovel lol).

Thanks for your help!!!

Perhaps this could help: MapsKrieg - Albany, NY - Apartments, Rooms, Sublets, and Real Estate for Sale

You might like neighborhoods like the Union Street area of Schenectady and Delaware Ave. in Albany.

There is an apartment in my building for rent. It's an old brownstone, so the apartments are very different from one another (I saw 2 when I checked the building out). So I don't really know what the layout is, like size of the kitchen, etc.

There is only on-street parking, but it'd be easy enough to find a space to rent someplace close by, I'd imagine.

It's located on the block between Washington Park and Lark Street in Center Square. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you info. It's a quieter building, and the landlord is pretty responsive when I've had to contact him.
