About to visit my first Asian Supermarket in the Albany area today. ("the Asian Supermarket at 1245 Central Ave. in Colonie)

What are some of the other Asian markets in the area that are worth checking out? (Especially north of Albany, Clifton Park through Glens Falls)

My first, and second, trip was a success. I'm very impressed with the store, considering what was available in Boston (a bigger city a reasonably large Japanese population), we didn't expect anywhere near the selection we found.

I'm happy to hear about other places, but I recommend Asian Supermarket to anyone who's interested.

The Asian Supermarket is great! There is another smaller place on Central Ave. closer to downtown in the Hannaford Plaza. It used to be the largest one in the area until the other one opened. I don't know of any other really good ones. There are a few others scattered on Central Ave. but are much smaller. I don't know of any that aren't in Albany. If you find some, I'd be interested in knowing!
