Thanks everyone, you're advice is super appreciated. We know with the current market that it will take us many months before we can even find jobs let alone actually move. My husband calls me the planner

@loveautumn - snow is considered our money make here in MD. We project tentative expenses and keep a possible snow reserve but really if we get a good snow, its mostly profit. A 7-10 inch storm will put us in the 1mil mark for NET.

Not sure how it is in NY, but again you guys are helping me figure that out!

I can't wait to move to the area, it almost seems to good to be true. Oh and is anyone really familiar with Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs to recommend cerain streets or areas to take a look into or to avoid?

just wanted to make sure I got you right...you make $1 million a year doing snow removal, or is that landscaping plus snow removal? Either way, gee, I guess we're all in the wrong business

Thanks again!
Healthcare fields may be growing, but we have YET to find comparable healthcare in capital region versus northern NJ. We have tried various doctors, medical clinics from Saratoga to Albany..found a good orthopedic in Albany and a good urologist in Saratoga. Other than those, we travel three hours.
