Are there any neighborhoods in or around Saratoga ( say within 10 miles or so) that you would specifically not choose to live in and why? I'm personally looking for safe and family-friendly and would love to hear if there are areas anyone would avoid.

thanks!

That's one of the nice things about living up here... I'm not convinced there ARE any "bad" areas around Saratoga Springs.

Ballston Spa is beautiful... you might want to take a look over that way.

Overall Saratoga Springs and the surrounding areas are very safe. There may be areas that are in need of some rehab work but don't let that fool you, if you stay in the general area of Saratoga you will find the neighborhoods to be safe and family friendly. That area has a very low crime rate, good schools and plenty of activities year round.
