How did it affect you? Snow on ground? Loss of power? What is gas situation like? Shortages? Lines?

I have a few dozen friends and relatives in that area, no damage, no loss of power, no shortages, non-event.

Sandy was a hurricane not a snow storm so there's no snow. There were a few power outages in the area, but they've all be restored. Gas is fine. No shortages or line for anything.

Sandy barely made an appearance in the area.

sandy actually did cause major snow in some parts of the country (mostly west virginia, some of western pa too). like feet of snow. so it wasn't an unreasonable question to ask.

Those aren't in New York. The snow was in the mountains. Sandy was barely a hiccup in Albany.
