Hi, does it snow that much that a snow blower is required, we are relocating to the area and were wondering whether its worth it to bring the snow blower with us?
thanks,
Not a definite requirement but a large majority of people own them. Shoveling for an hour versus snow blowing in 15 minutes makes it desirable to have one.
Did have a follow up question. Do the north suburbs (Clifton park, ballston, malta) receive more snow then the southern suburbs (delmar, east greenbush, latham, selkirk)? Which areas around Albany receive the least snow?

You never really know, it depends on the storm track. The higher elevations definitely get more snow but none of the areas you mentioned would fall into that category. I would say that of the places you mentioned, Latham probably gets the least snow. The northern suburbs usually get a little more snow but there isn't that much of a difference until you get up north of Saratoga Springs.
Depends on Mother Nature and the storm track. Sometimes Albany and below get hit, while Saratoga is spared.
