was wondering if opening a gay community center / club / type business in this area.

successful history in branching out beyond urban areas. also work with GLAAD.

Just wondering if any locals have any info of if there is a market for it.

OMG, no. Not many gay Bubbas or bikers there. You will have crosses burning in your yard.

I doubt it. The area may be a bit more conservative than others, but that doesn't mean it's anti-gay. Most places aren't anti-gay at all. They might not "agree with the lifestyle" as they all say, but they're not gonna threaten you or be violent in any way about it.
