I was offered a great job opportunity in the Glenns Falls/ Queensbury area. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs right now. I visited Lake George and Albany, NY a few years ago. I just turned 24 years old a few months ago and I do not know anyone in the area. Would it be difficult to meet new people and/ or young people in the area? Would you recommend the area for a young person to move to?

Thank u

I'm assuming that Downtown Glens Falls or if you drive, Saratoga Springs may be another place to consider. You may want to contact this group in Glens Falls, as it could be a way to meet people that are around your age and to network: Adirondack Regional Chamber Of Commerce Young Professional Organization: Join & Network With Other Young Business Professionals

It appears that Saratoga Springs/County has a similar group as well: Young Professionals Network

Please bear in mind we had over 60 inches of snow this winter, we're getting more snow today.

And the average high this February was 7F. The fifth (I think) coldest month since they started keeping record.

What kind of great job is this?

60 inches is pretty average for the area and is half of what some other parts of Upstate NY gets.

We get a lot of snow in Philly too. The last 2 winters have been pretty insane. But I think we get more sun light.
