Why do you say this? Most "best of" lists have East Greenbush well below many of the other districts. I would only put so much stock in those lists anyway. My oldest kid is just finishing up her 12th year in the lowest ranked district - Albany - and we have been very happy. Lots of kids transfer from Robert C. Parker (which only goes to 8th grade), and they do very well. Can't say as much about Doane Stuart, as they go to 12th, so not as many students transfer out. My sense is that Doane Stuart is more traditional than Robert C. Parker, but both lean towards progressive education. Albany Academies are much more traditional.
