I recently found this site and think its fantastic! I'm considering relocating to the Albany area from Michigan. I'm 28 and single and am considering a good job in the downtown area. I love the Adirondacks and am looking for a decent rental (one or two bedrooms, possibly a townhouse or something with a garage). I'm not oppossed to living in the downtwon area, but it didn't seem that great of a place to live. I've read that the Lark street area is the place to be in that area? Thoughts? I'm really considering one of the smaller towns on the outskirts and liked the northern area towns of Clifton Park and Saratoga. This would make weekend outings to the mountains easier. Any thoughts on the towns to the north? How does the Cohoes/Watervliet/Waterford area compare to Clifton Park/Saratoga? Any other towns within 45 minutes that anyone would recommend? Thanks so much!

watervliet/cohoes doesnt compare with clifton park. the first is a working class, run down area while clifton park is an upper middle class suburban enclave up the throughway.

Default Saratoga

We recently purchased a home in Saratoga County (Schuylerville) and absolutely love the area. There is so much to do in Saratoga Springs and the surrounding area. We have found the people friendly and helpful.
