so...my boyfriend's taken a job with the court of appeals, and we'll be moving to albany from florida this summer. based on what i've read, i'm pretty sure we'll want a place in the lark street area. i know he's got visions of brownstones in his head.

my question, though, is this: what's the real estate situation like up there? he has an orientation thing in march -- if we came up then, is it feasible that we could find a place to start renting in june, or do we have to wait until we're pretty much ready to move in? because he has graduation on may 11, but his LSAT prep begins pretty soon after, so we're trying to figure out the timing.

any insight would be very much appreciated! thanks.
