We'll be up in the Albany area this coming week visiting family, and I thought about bringing the kids to Lake George. I'm a little hesitant to bring them to the beach after reading about some of the recent closures. Has that situation resolved? If we don't go to the beach, does anyone have suggestions for some other things we could do? Four kids ages 6-13. Thanks!

Lol. That's what I figured. We didn't go. My sister has a season pass and says it's not the same.

My favorite was the swan ride.

And Cinderella's pumpkin coach.

Expect cooler weather this coming weekend. Saratoga isn't that far from Lake George. There is a children's museum, carousal, etc.

I went on a steamboat tour of Lake George while I was up there a month ago and was pleasantly surprised. It was a little kitch, but if the weather is nice it is an awesome trip.
