• World Awareness Children's Museum...........Closed
• Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council
• The Shirt Factory Arts & Healing Center......I have a shop in The Shirt Factory and it's dead...I am in the process of moving
out like others
• Art in the Public Eye
• The Hyde Collection.....Museum....if open masks
• North Country Arts......Closed....it's in the Shirt Factory
• The Chapman Historical Museum
• Adirondack Theatre Festival........Festivals.....none this past summer
• Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra
• Crandall Public Library.........Limited patrons....have to make appointment
• Feeder Canal Alliance
• Glens Falls Civic Center
• Glens Falls Community Theatre
• Park Theater....I live across from Park theater....closed

Most of the places you mentioned are virtual or Zoom....a nursery school opened and the kids are wearing masks....sad

Virtual life IMHO is not the kind of life I prefer....but if you do then come to Glens Falls
A masked life is NOT what I prefer
80% wear masks even in their car....sad

You're info is inaccurate

^So, the information from the Art District association of Glens Falls is wrong? It looks like it is still active, just within the parameters of the current time was the point. That doesn't mean that they are gone or done.

^So, again, many of these look to be temporary or operating within the current parameters. So, are any of these closing for good or are all of these temporary? That is more in line with the initial question. Not trying to argue, but that first post made it seem like the art scene in Glens Falls was shut down for good or downsized substantially.

[quote=MrJones17;60038893]Saratoga Hospital is arguably the best hospital in the area.
Where did you get this idea? Are you going to get neurosurgery there? How about a heart transplant? It's a community hospital...good for basic things, but to say it's better than GF or even Littauer is just pumping Saratoga as so many of the locals do (without any backup..). It's a good place to deliver a baby and basic care...anything more elaborate like the aforementioned requires a trip to Albany, Syracuse, NYC, or Hartford Hospital.
