Hey everyone like the title says, I am 23 I may have a job offer coming next week and would like to get your thoughts on if there is a lot to do. I am from long island and i just graduated from college a year ago. I would like an area that is safe but "busy" a lot of stuff to do, bars, restaurants etc. I wouldnt mind being around a college atmosphere. Where are the best areas to live around there?

I wonder if this fellow made the jump from 'Da Island' to the ALB. If he did I'm sure culture shock has already hit him. Of course depending on his personal tastes. He may be a good fit here.

I like to think that .. if you can do albany you can do baghdad with noooooooooooooo problem! Think of it, killings, cratered streets, dysfunctional govenrment (hope I spelled that correrctly) and people that sometimes get along and sometimes don't, cops that you don't know which ones or who to trust! Only thing is here it's a bit more greener and mother nature's a/c works better.
