It is also 15th in foreign born median household income out of the top 100 metro areas in the country(Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown is 9th in that regard).
It is 9th in foreign born educational attainment(adults 25 and older with at least a Bachelors degree).
It is 18th in foreign born productivity(Poughkeepsie is 3rd).
It is 14th in domestic migration of immigrants from 2010-2020.
Ironically, Syracuse(4th), Rochester(10th) and Buffalo(13th) made a list in terms of immigration decline from 2010-2021. Albany was 23rd in that regard.
Also, on the overall list, Rochester came in 31st, Poughkeepsie 42nd, NYC 56th, Buffalo 69th and Syracuse 71st.
