I'm relavitely new to the area and I'm trying to find out where I can recycle residential hazardous materials such as used motor oil, old pesticides, paint, electronics, ect in the Saratoga Springs area.

Thanks!

Check out Earth911.com - Find Recycling Centers and Learn How To Recycle and enter Saratoga Springs. For most items, chain stores that sell that item now offer free recycling. Staples and Best Buy recycle electronics (mostly for free), Advanced Auto Parts will accept motor oil and car batteries, Home Depot will take compact flourescent light bulbs, etc.

At work, we usually get notified of annual recycling days where you can drop off most recyclables (including large items) at some location. A quick google search didn't turn up anything, but I will ask around and see if I can get details.

Have you checked at the Public Waste location? It is across from the skating rink (Rt 9?)

if it is in workable condition, try Habitat for Humanity, Homeless Shelters, churches, etc.
