I am a student from China. I got a PhD offer of chemistry from SUNY-Albany Do you know something about this university? I heard from seniors that the weather in New York is not very good~Is that so

i went to college there - it is very very cold in albany. good school. LOTS of undergraduates. not a great town for fun unless you are a big drinker and partier. good luck. feel free to send me a private message if you need more info.

SUNY Albany is a fairly well respected University in the state of NY. Check out this page for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SUNY_Albany

The weather in New York is comparable to the weather in Beijing. It is very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer.
