In general north of Union Street is Niskayuna, South would be Schenectady. It depends where on Balltown you mean. Can you be more specific, like a cross street? You should be able to also go on the school websites for info or call the town/city.

I see now that the city limit of Niskayuna cuts up to the northwest from Balltown road. Are the city limits of Niskayuna coincident with the school district boundary?

Actually they aren't always..

There are some places that are City of Schenectady and nyskyuna school district and vica versa.. I only know this because i just finished house hunting for the last 6 months and looked at about 100 houses in schenectady county that aren't schenectady school district.

Here's a good site where you can put in an address and it will tell you what district you are in: Search for School Profiles

This is a good site....most of the time. If you live right on the border of two school districts...it can tell you that you're in the wrong one. This is the case with me...

I have caught that at times. Usually though, it is on point.
