Hi,

I might be getting a job in Saratoga Springs and wanted some input on what towns I should into for renting a one-bedroom apartment. I'm going to need something less than $700 a month but am willing to go up to 30 miles outside of town. I don't need anything that big. I just want something affordable and not in a bad area. I was thinking north of town, places like Queensbury and Glens Falls.

What do you think? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Albany Homes, Real Estate, Rentals - Times Union (http://homes.timesunion.com/rentals/searchresults.asp - broken link)
PostStar.com - Glens Falls, Saratoga, Lake George

Check Schuylerville, Wilton, Moreau, Northunderland also. Glen Falls would have more listings and be more in line with your budget.

Saratoga Springs has a "bad" area? Try Ballston Spa too. This might help as well: MapsKrieg - Apartments & Housing For Rent in Albany, NY
